Now that was a quick year, and a wonderful end to the year too. As a business owner, it can be tough to take time away from your business (or is that just me?), so I was raring to get back to work this year.
I had already put into place our 2015 strategy, back in 2014, so I know what to focus on, how to do it and where to go to help. But…it is a little tough to market yourself in the beginning of a year. Most people are thinking of their own businesses, admit it, so are you. So let’s be a little different. Let’s just have conversations, see how our customers are, how their Christmas and New Year went, and then take it to the next level.
By the next level I mean renewing contracts, sharing new services and seeing if your current clients are in need of other services from your business or referral partners?
Many of my clients didn’t know we offered content writing for social media or engagement for social media (rather than a whole package), so those customers that were unsure on how we could help them with their social media, now know we can take on the parts that they don’t have time for.
Others did not know that we can create e-newsletters for them, so they are now all set up and ready to take on the year with a scheduled and well planned e-marketing campaign.
Whatever it is that you are planning to do in 2015, your current clients are most definitely the ones that will be most likely to buy from you.
First, get back to business the way you like most. For me, it’s all in the content and connecting with current clients through a whole week of phone call meetings and one in person coffee with a long term client. That’s why I am probably so excited!
What are you doing?
